People simply can’t differentiate between real life and acting, do they think people in films actually get shot too. Massive overreaction. Don’t get me wrong the advert was stupid but they knew what was happening if they were in it.

A reporter in the US did some digging - this was the FIRST time an advert from good good featured a woman - and it was to shove her down and be menacing. Genuinely crazy work

As someone that does this for a living, there are only three explanations that I can think of. (1) Old school male only advertising team that never spotted the problem. (2) a modern diverse team with no psychological safety so even though they spotted the problem, they said nothing or (3) a modern team that did say something that got ignored / overruled by the senior. All are bad

It honestly makes it worse bc it shows a clear distinction btwn how a woman and man are treated. Woman reaches for club and man immediately resorts to violence. Man reaches for club and is warned and allowed to take club. Also the entire messaging is terrible. “Get our club it’ll make you violent and crazy!!!”
