hunny I'm 38 and still feel that. Granted I had a baby very young and have been a single mom since so never have I had 2 incomes providing for us, but I have busted my ass at work, quadrupled what I make and still feel the same. When I bought my house in 2019 I made 30k+ less than I do now. House payment pretty much unchanged. But I feel I'm drowning more now than then and the list of what needs to be fixed/replaced has gotten exponentially longer. I will never be able to offer to pay for college or school for my son, or buy him his first car even. The world isn't set up for any of us to succeed right now. I really believe we have to get back to our roots, live in multigenerational homes, share resources and try to live more simply.

I think us in our 20s not only put a lot of pressure on ourselves to have a certain amount of success by a certain age, but the financial economy is working against a lot of us. And I can only imagine that men really feel that pressure. I wish you the best and hope your business is successful. I'm sure your dad is proud of you!!!
