Don't boycott the Sita buses lol. You just needed to do a little more research before you got there that would've prepared you. If you're in Amalfi and want to go towards your accomodation (tent) just take the Sita bus that says Salerno. You do NOT need a bus app, google naps works fine. When you find a place that sells bus tix just buy a stack of like 6-8 (they're €1.50) so you always have em on you. The buses are easier than you think, you were just a little unprepared

You can get a private driver there! We were there last summer. Buses there are a nightmare. Lots of pickpockets in the buses too. Private driver for your safety and sanity!

if you go to italy summer you should not visit this touristy places, if you want beautiful beaches and cheap prices go to sicily or sardinia, everything is way better trust!
