Hi, I understand it. I've been there and, still at 74, continue to go up and down. What I have learned, though, is that sometimes you have to give yourself grace and just buy the bigger clothes. Yes, you still feel like crap sometimes or that you have failed yourself, but life is a continuum. It's not one set point, neither is some people's weight. Some people can stick with one weight their entire life, and that's great, but many of us struggle, and we ride the scale like we ride a roller coaster.
You have to know in your heart who you are, and life's too short to be in emotional pain, which is self-imposed. Yes, society does a number on us, but we have so many days in our life. Do we want to waste any of them on feeling less than because, at that particular moment, we feel judged by society? You are delightful. I've enjoyed watching since just shortly before the birth of the triplets. You put a lot of pressure on yourself. I do too, but I've also learned to let go and laugh at myself and keep trying. That's all you can do: keep trying.
Life is good. At 74, my kids are grown. I have grandkids, and I'm going to be a great grandma in October. I have had a very good life, and it's a lot more than about your weight, and you've got it going on.
