@_abu_ubayd: There were a lot of quiet periods where he was looking into the sky - maybe trying to figure out who he was going to bump next. I’ve taken those parts out and trimmed the video as much as possible. We dealt with him with respect and patience. We’ve been patient since October 2025, giving him more than enough time and opportunity to walk away, take some time and figure out how he was going to pay us back. Instead, we’ve seen people’s Amaanah taken - services not delivered, refunds not given, and money borrowed that was never paid back. For clarity, we only met him twice: once in October 2025 with all the other business owners, and once in April 2026. That’s it. He claims he came to “all the meetings”, which makes it sound as though there were regular or monthly meetings. There weren’t. This video was recorded in April 2026. We deliberately chose not to release it at the time because we were still giving him every opportunity to take responsibility, fix the mess he had created and pay people back. This is what we wanted to show the community. We never had the intention of humiliating him, and Allah knows best what was in our hearts. Keep us and all the victims in your du’as.
