No paper titles for over 8 years now. I've also looked up in fee simple and fee simple and it doesn't say anything about leasehold it says it's practically the same. We need to know what's going on

There is a little confusion around the phrase “the Crown owns all Australian land,” though. If you own a normal house on freehold land, you are the registered owner of that property. Your Certificate of Title records your ownership and the interests affecting the property. In WA, Landgate describes freehold (also called fee simple) as the greatest estate a person can hold in land.

My bank won't return my paper title deed even after I paid off my mortgage but they did send me a copy of my digital title on the phone which they weren't supposed to do 💯😎
