I love the idea of storing two dollars in eggs in a $200 egg carton.

Am I the only one who ADORES it?! I love the whole idea. Yes it’s a lot more work but for the beauty each time you open the fridge….i think it’s worth it. This would bring literal joy to me every time I open in the fridge and I do open it often.

My grandfather recently passed, and he was a huge stained glass lover. He made a whole shed out of pieces he’d collected from tips and hard rubbish. He cut holes in the walls to replace with stained glass inside his home, until my grandmother said “enough!”. Every time I see stained glass I am reminded of him and his legacy, left behind in all those beautiful colours and rainbow patterns. Thanks for showing up on my feed today 💕

This is gorgeous! If you get fresh eggs that can stay on the counter. I'd use this! 😍

Well great. Now I need this more than I've ever needed anything and I will never have it. And now every time I open my fridge and see my eggs sitting there like little IDIOTS in a plain-ass paper carton I will lose my appetite and starve to death. Thank you very much.

weird to open the comments and see people discussing the price or their opinions on such...finding value in someones art is very personal to the artist and the one individual who see even more value in it then the artist price and work....but why is that even a discussion in this particular video where the artist is explaining their work and critical thinking in their work...comments of appreciation or even in the event this particular thing isnt to your liking at least give note to the amount of work, craftsmanship and creativity. personally I am not rich but I would pay around 200 to 300. but if I had more money i woulf offer more..3 weeks of work and im sure just as hard if not more that a flat piece...should be a couple of grand at least. I have turned down higher prices and given for less because the client was in absolute awe of a piece, they didnt have the means as some but it truly wasnt the point. yes that turned into the client saving and commissioning 6 other pieces over 4 years. I would absolutely say id use it to justify to my husband or anyone else haha but in reality it would be on display as is and loved as is...you shouldn't need function in art for its value so whilst functional art seems like an excessive price...it falls into to creative categories and could argue the price should reflect that. But the price the value is between and artist and its client. if you arent the client and the artist isnt asking about value why comment on it? I dont even think it would be etiquette for another glass artist to make pricing comments here. so after all that here is my comment for appreciation for you and your craft and creativity. It is art in itself and such already has a purpose. my creative mind sees this as a beautiful display all year catching every days light, at Easter a particular centre piece for a whimsical and almost witchy feel. 🔥🔥🔥

I make pysanky (batik Easter eggs) and all I can think is how beautiful they would look in a container like this! Especially with vibrant colours that match the glass. Or just black and white patterns for contrast 👀

Why is this the most beautiful thing!?! There’s something even more magical about it because an egg carton is such a basic, every day thing and yet, you’ve made it so beautiful and whimsical. How can I get this??
