Doesn't matter if the small car driver stopped. The lorry shouldn't rely on the actions of other cars in their lane to drive safely. Should have taken both lanes to start with to keep them out if it requires it. 100% lorry drivers fault

100% trucker at fault, no question. HOWEVER, why did you stop? If the truck can pull out you certainly can and you'll be able to move away from the trailer coming towards you. Could've been avoidable u less you stalled or something

These lorry drivers are so dangerous, one took the wrong left lane last time and cut across to go right almost slammed into the side of me and run me off the roundabout almost into the bloody roundabout!!!

VERY VERY SIMILAR THING HAPPENED TO ME 2 WEEKS AFTER I PASSED MY TEST BUT THE GUY DIDNT STOP😭 he was driving a big ass truck carrying fuel and my bf chased him down, the company paid for all the repairs🥲

If I see an HGV in the second lane and I’m in the first lane, I stop behind it rather than trying to squeeze past. HGVs need more room to manoeuvre and turn, so I’d rather wait a few seconds than risk getting caught alongside it. Safety first! 🚛
