Jury selection begins Sept. 17 in Ohio for Caleb Flynn, a former “American Idol” contestant accused of m*rdering his wife, Ashley Flynn, inside their family home. Ashley was a beloved member of the Ohio community where she and Caleb were raising their two daughters. On Feb. 16, the girls, then 9 and 12, were home when Caleb claimed that a robber had entered the house and fatally sh*t Ashley. But just days later, police arrested Caleb after investigators identified alleged inconsistencies in his statements. Now the case is heading to trial — and prosecutors have listed nearly 200 potential witnesses. Among them are Caleb and Ashley’s two daughters, as well as a woman prosecutors say was Caleb’s alleged mistress. The girls will be allowed to testify from behind a partition rather than in open court. Caleb and his defense team strongly objected to that arrangement and had wanted the girls to testify in the courtroom. Following Ashley’s de*th, her parents and sister took custody of the two girls and continue to care for them. Caleb’s connection to “American Idol” dates back to 2013, when he appeared on Season 12. He made it through his audition and several early rounds but never reached the live shows. Meanwhile, Caleb maintains his innocence and has pleaded not guilty to the m*rder charge. His attorney, L.
