@avinterkald: Carlo Michelstaedter on Persuasion. He who does not have persuasion cannot communicate it (μήτι δύναται τυφλὸς τυφλὸν ὁδηγεῖν, 'Surely a blind man cannot lead the blind') (St. Luke). Persuaded is he who has his life within himself, a soul naked amongst the islands of the blessed (ή γυμνὴ ψυχὴ ἐν τοῖς τῶν μακάρων νήσοις) (Gorgias). But men look for τήν ψυχὴν, 'life,' and lose τὴν ψυχήν, 'life' (St. Matthew). #philosophy
