@verse_osmo: Had to take a long break. Creating started to feel like work, like another job I had to accomplish on a deadline. Made me feel like I was no longer doing this for the love, but for the algorithm, views, and companies. My first born arrived recently, and holding him for the first time woke something in me. As I held him, the tears wouldnt stop, and I promised him (even tho he dont understand yet) that I would be the best man I can be. Countless days I felt so disconnected from my heritage and culture, and estranged from family, that made me struggle alot with self worth. But I realize, this Hip Hop culture has always been here for me. Helped me through alot, and taught me so much about the world and myself, and connected me with so many of you who followed and supported. Even when I fell off and took a year break, many of yall stayed. Im grateful for that, that I was able to reach so many ears, and even got some of my absolute favorite artists to follow me back. People I grew up listening to, and who unknowlingly helped me in life with the art theyve shared. I apologize for taking this long break, for not following through on alot of things I use to, and for not providing the most I could. Because maybe the music we share here, also helps some people out there, like how Hip Hop helped me. I slacked alot but im ready to start doing this for the love again.
