Replying to @fringemops Where does the Qur’an call Jesus the Messiah? Messiah comes from the Hebrew Mashiach, meaning the anointed one. In the Bible, when read in the original language, there are multiple messiahs — kings, priests, and figures chosen by God. The word itself does not mean God. Islam uses the title the same way. Jesus is al-Masīḥ — the anointed, chosen messenger of God. Honoured, but fully human. The Qur’an is the direct word of God, not human commentary. So Jesus does not need to speak in first person for this to be true. The Qur’an explicitly calls Jesus the Messiah in: 3:45 4:171 5:72 #jesus #god #allah❤️ #muslimtiktok #fyp
