@interlinkt3: Building a Global Digital Asset Network 🏦🌎 InterLink’s next five-year strategy is not limited to individual users. One of the most ambitious directions is the expansion of a Digital Asset Treasury Network that can bring companies and institutions into the ecosystem. The long-term target is for at least 500 companies and institutions to hold ITL as part of their Digital Asset Treasury, with more than 20% targeted to be publicly listed companies. This represents a vision in which ITL can become part of the digital asset strategies of organizations, not only individual community members. Institutional participation requires strong foundations. This is why other priorities are closely connected to the treasury strategy. InterLink is working toward stronger security through Post-Quantum Security research and testing. Preparing for possible quantum-related threats can help ensure that security remains a long-term consideration. Real-World Asset infrastructure through IBTE can also support institutional participation by helping businesses tokenize assets and move activities on-chain. The Open Mainnet, targeted for 2027, is expected to connect InterLink more closely with the broader blockchain economy. Validators, staking, applications, external liquidity, and real on-chain activity will become increasingly important as mobile mining ends. InterLink also wants to work toward major exchange listings, with Binance, OKX, and Coinbase among the key targets. Strong liquidity, compliance, security, and institutional infrastructure will be important for this ambition. Beyond institutions, utility remains essential. InterLink aims to expand ITL use across travel, hotels, shopping, food, entertainment, gift cards, digital services, and other areas. Finally, improving verification can help expand digital asset ownership globally while maintaining strong identity, anti-fraud, KYC/AML, and compliance systems.
