Some studies find an association between antidepressant use during pregnancy and autism—but when researchers account for the underlying factors that led someone to take an antidepressant in the first place, particularly using sibling comparisons, that association largely disappears. Association ≠ causation. And untreated depression during pregnancy isn't risk-free either.
