@mrkevinroman: This is what I think is quick and easy alcapurrias. The masa I bought pre-grated, just seasoned it with salt, homemade adobo and sazon and added a bit of achiote oil (l have a tutorial already on how to make achiote oil FIND IT No joda). For the meat, I seasoned it pretty much the same way. I used pork shoulder chunks that I bought in the supermarket and I also used ground beef to give a different flavor profile. I cooked the meat on medium low heat with sazon and adobo. I used some Sofrito, recao and pimento/ red pepper. As far as measurements use the soul of the ancestors. For the oil, 1 am using avocado oil. Like I said in the video, the best try is between 340°F and 360°F. Do not let it go lower. D not let it go above and just fry until golden Brown. I like to freeze them overnight and parchment paper. I make them long and skinny because I feel like it is the perfect appetizer size but feel free to cook them. However you feel but frying temperature and time will vary on the size so keep that in mind. Enjoy.
