Back when they were just surviving on the farm, in the prison, or on the open road felt so real. The tension was constant and every single walker encountered felt like a genuine life or death threat. There was something special about seeing a small family unit stick together through the rawest times. Nothing in the newer eras could ever replicate that original gritty vibe we all fell in love with.
