I feel like the history part is missing the Kalmar union - and how Denmark had so much silent power due to being one of the biggest players in supplying boats for the slave trade and our income due to sugar refinery - that lead to Denmark still having a famous sugar production now we use own farm land and not space trade and colonies.

I think you should point out that the Amsterdam Treaty later extended the citizenship 'opt out' to everyone. EU citizenship doesn’t replace national citizenship anywhere in the EU.
