@thespiritbabymedium: Every day it’s a battle for me not to get defensive, especially when I’m being accused of things that simply did not happen. But honestly, I’m proud of myself for taking the post down, taking a breath, and resisting the urge to keep feeding into it. I’ve learned that not everyone is going to like me, and that’s okay. The people who truly know me know I’m not a bad person and would never do the things I’ve been accused of doing. I have my proof, and honestly, that’s the peace I need. I feel defeated because I was doing so good staying out of drama. This month marked a whole year of me choosing peace, but I guess the universe always has a way of testing you. People will form alliances against you, they’ll try to tear you down and make you look like the villain, but you just have to keep going regardless. I’m going to continue choosing to be the mature one and not stoop to the level of people trying to provoke me. But I’m also going to be stern when I say that I did not do the things I’m being accused of doing. I know what happened, I know what didn’t happen, and I have my proof. I have my own trauma that I’m still healing from, just like everyone else has their own battles, but every single day is a growth period for me. I’m not perfect, but I’m learning, I’m growing, and I’m choosing peace even when it’s hard. Especially when you truly cared about someone and all they want to do is make false accusations and try to tear you down. It’s not okay.
