@dailymailuk: A partial lunar eclipse will light up UK skies this Friday, turning the moon an eerie red 🌕🌑 The eclipse will take place in the early hours of Friday, August 28, and will be visible from across the UK, weather permitting. In London, it will begin at 3.33am BST, reaching its maximum at 5.12am, when around 90% of the Moon will be within Earth’s darkest shadow, the umbra. By then, the Moon will be very low in the south-western sky, creating a striking effect known as the Moon illusion 👀 #eclipse #moon #uknews

Won’t it just be like the recent solar eclipse? We all get hyped up and then it just disappoints

Every time I look at TikTok there’s something going on with the moon you may as well stop calling at the moon and start calling at the chameleon because it won’t stop changing colours
