@theintrovertedrecruiter: “Tell me about yourself” sounds like the easiest interview question in the world. Yet it's one of the easiest to completely mess up. Some people basically read their CV back to the interviewer. Others start with their first ever job and 20 minutes later they're still talking. You don't need to tell them everything you've ever done. Give them the highlights: What you do and the relevant context around your experience. What you're particularly good at. What you're looking for next. 30–60 seconds is plenty. And then stop talking.
