I'm a first year teacher so take this with a grain of salt, but my kids are BIG visual and kinesthetic learners so we are playing largo vs presto tag and piano verses forte freeze as well. when we first go over the terms we identify them by animals like sloths and cheetah, baby fish for soft and giant shark for loud. I've also been having them follow my hand to practice loud and soft. While we do it I consistently repeat the terms and they seem to pick it up fairly well.
