How did you find a doctor/doctors that were willing to try a range of off label meds to treat your rare symptoms... most doctors ive met are conservative and not willing to try things out side the box even when conventional meds failed.

I HATE CELEBREX. The rhum put me on it but the rebound headaches were wicked! as a chronic migraine and tension headache girlie, stay away from celebrex. BUT I am so glad things are looking up for you! praying for everything to help you feel better

This is so fascinating I survived the first wave in New York. The worst wave I was hospitalized and then sent home basically to die and I was put on Valtrex like five months later because we couldn't even find a doctor or couldn't even see a doctor for at least three months And when I finally saw an immunologist who specialized in ME she put me on six months of it at 1000 mg and it did absolutely nothing for me which isn't to say it isn't effective for you. I just find it really fascinating that it didn't help with nerve pain at all for me. I have small fiber neuropathy from Covidand I still have Al Onia burning back pain on my back every day and the Valtrex never helped with any of that neither did gabapentin.

The herpes virus lives in the nerves. Long haul covid makes these viruses come out of the wood works. So you’re actually treating that and not long haul covid. Just stay hydrated because it clears through the kidneys. Our stories are pretty much the same. Ketotifen and LDN gave me life again. Glad you’ve found them as well!!
