@bethanyhome_: ⬇️ Here’s WHY we did lots of things at our wedding that you’re not “supposed” to do… I mean it’s basically because we wanted to. We’re both low key people and can take 3-5 business days to recover from social interactions😆, so an all day & night wedding was never going to be for us. We chose a sunset package which meant we got married at 4pm in front of our 8 closest friends & family, then the rest of our guests arrived at 5pm. This was perfect for us and also meant there was less anxiety about the ceremony itself (standing in front of 100s of people is literally both of our worst nightmare - so why would we do it)? We’ve been together almost a decade and we already cancelled a big wedding abroad during the pandemic, so this time we wanted to keep it low key and actually just create a day that we would LOVE, and that our friends & family would enjoy too. When you’re planning a wedding there can be SO much pressure but we really just thought it’s our day, we’ll do exactly what we want to do, and it was perfect for us. Low key doesn’t mean it’s any less special 🤍 If you’re anything like me and don’t wanna have 10 bridesmaids, spend days in wedding dress shops, get married/have a first dance in front of everyone or spend tens of thousands of £££ then this is your sign - literally just don’t 🤭✨ ##wedding##budgetweddingideas
