@kachellekelly: Today makes 11 years since Mayor Annise Parker officially proclaimed August 25th as ‘Kachelle Kelly Day’ in the City of Houston. I’m sitting in gratitude because sometimes we accomplish something BIG 🏆, thank God for it 🙌🏾, and move right on to the next thing ➡️ without really stopping to take it in. What makes this one even more special is that my MOM and DAD were both there, FULLY present, along with close friends and family who celebrated with me at City Hall and afterward. 🙏🏾 And when I really think about the journey — from writing my first book in 2004 to 7 books, a sold-out 7-city Dream Pray Hustle Tour, @strongfriendsociety to corporate training in 49 states, speaking, teaching, building, creating, and all the things in between — none of it happened in a vacuum. 🙌🏾 So many of you have rocked with me, supported me, bought the books, showed up, prayed for me, referred me, encouraged me, celebrated with me, and loved me through some of the hardest seasons of my life. I don’t take any of that for granted. 💕 THANK YOU!! No big celebration today… just a whole lot of gratitude, reflection, and a little pat on my own back. 👏🏾 Some blessings deserve to be remembered. SO TODAY, AUGUST 25th, is KK Day, y’all. 😂 The BIG K, not the little one. 💅🏾❤️
