I’m going to be honest……No we will not be super trained able to color match you😭 We are getting “trained” by watching literally 100 videos of daily target training mixed with skin and makeup all while setting up beauty studio and doing target tasks all within 2-3weeks😭.

I heard that Ulta ended it with Target because Target was supposed to have at least two people in the Ulta section at all time, so product wouldn’t be stolen that is provided by Ulta and Ulta paid them to have two people there, but never did at a lot of locations, but I could be totally wrong

This might be a controversial opinion, but when I’m shopping prestige items, I want to be in a precision environment and receiving the prestige customer care. I love the drugstore and mid range products being at target. I just do not expect to be reaching for higher and goods shopping there.

Ulta ended it with Target. They had Ulta contracted employees working in other areas of the store and that was a breach of contact.

Just letting all yall know, as a former ulta team member and a soon to be beauty studio team member- please DONT expect us to be specialists.. I know it’s advertised as that but Our training is literally just telling us a few short videos on a handful of brands. And we’re too busy to even look at our training rn. We have some brands we used to have and a lot of new brands and it’s gonna be really cool but it’s…not a makeup store and we are NOTTT specialists!!

Don’t get it twisted it is still the 21 year-old that was working at Ulta in target before the Ulta close down. I work at the target we are not hiring a new person to be some kind of beauty guruit’s gonna be the same girl that you solve for

Honestly I was just in target , everything is behind glass . There’s no picking something up and browsing . You need to press a button & wait . Things are expensive & the checking out is depressing . You have to checkout yourself & no bags …. Oh & let’s not forget that we es no prices on the tags for clothes …
