tips for vanlife in Japan 👇🏼👇🏼 ✨places to rent from✨ https://nomad-r.jp https://tomo-campers.jp https://japanrv-rental.com ✨where you can sleep✨ The rental company will tell you a list of places you’re allowed to sleep and how to navigate certain areas! (At least the Nomad company did). The rest stops are an easy option, depending on what area you’re in. There are RV parks that are open year round as well and have amenities like shower, sauna, laundry, water, trash, etc so those are a great option! ✨getting data and navigating✨ I find the easiest way to get data in new countries is by having an eSIM. I’ve been using @Airalo for years now, in 10+ countries! All you need to do is: 1. download the Airalo App 2. select which country you’re traveling to 3. pick a data plan (I do 5-10GB per 2 weeks) 4. use code KAYLI3 for $3 off your first eSIM 5. download and install the eSIM 6. wait until you land in the new country 7. turn on the data roaming and use the eSIM once you’re there! ✨things to pack✨ - shoes aren’t allowed in the campervans so you’ll want some sort of slipper - water bottles (in winter there isn’t running water) - towel + shower stuff for all the onsens you’ll stop by! - snow boots!! (if renting in winter) - portable charger (so you don’t deplete the van battery too much) - USBC cigarette lighter chargers - packable duffel bag to bring into shower spots or onsens #ArialoPartner #travelJapan #vanlifejapan #airalo #eSIM paidbyairalo airalopaidmeforthis
