I get so frustrated when people say they envy my curls so much. They only see the finished product and think I wash it and it looks like that. What they don’t see is that I’m chronically ill and only have so much energy in a day and that curly hair needs daily upkeep in a way that straight hair doesn’t. I keep my hair straight because the only thing I need to do to it for a week is brush it and go. It’s easier to put up when it’s straight, and styling it is hardly any trouble. Thank you for making this video, because I definitely am tired of feeling guilty for straightening my hair when so many people would kill for what I have (but if they knew the amount of upkeep it takes, they’d be frustrated with it too).
