I loooove this parallel because in the first scene, the dichotomy plays out between faith as "morally bad/selfish" vs buffy as "morally good/selfless" but by the time we get to s6, the same conversation is being used to highlight buffy's self hatred and disgust with herself vs. spikes acceptance of himself
