Not a chance those statistics aren’t skewed or made up. There are so many people in the UK who work for less than £30K, so the average being around £37,000 is horse sh*t. People are ridiculously poor in this country and it’s outrageous that it’s portrayed that the majority are not.

When you say 40% have less than 1000, are you including the entire population or anyone above 16? Because it would not be realistic to expect 15 and under to have any savings on their own

I have 2280 net salary in Estonia. We own House 120m2. Approximately 300.- month (utilitys+electricity+internet+insurance). Car leasing 150.-month and about 300 for fuel. We dont pay here council taxes

the last one can't be right surely? if you include personal home as net worth then its gotta be higher than 4.5% especially if were considering a universal 'millionaire" standard so to the US dollar a uk millionaire would need only 730k gbp entire net worth.

As per the financially illiterate don’t understand wealth doesn’t equate to savings. You can be a millionaire with under £1000 of savings.
