Okay, this one hit. I’ve been trying to stop packaging myself as “years of experience” and start packaging what I can see because of that experience. My lane is operational friction—especially in insurance/underwriting operations. I can see where unclear ownership, broken handoffs, unnecessary manual work, capacity issues and poorly implemented technology are about to become rework, missed SLAs, excess headcount or lost revenue. And increasingly, I’m looking at where AI can remove that friction instead of just becoming another tool people have to manage. I think that is the problem I understand well enough to advise on. Now I’m figuring out how narrowly to package it. This was a really helpful way to frame it.
