@novoiceunheard: Safety Is Non-Negotiable The amount of crime we are witnessing across New York City especially in the Bronx cannot be ignored. There is a growing disconnect between the numbers being reported and what residents are experiencing on our streets every single day. Crime and violence must be treated as a public health crisis. Our communities deserve to feel safe walking to school, going to church, shopping at our local bodegas, and simply living their lives. We need a stronger police presence where our communities need it most in front of schools, bodegas, churches, transit hubs, and other community gathering places. This is not about fear. It is about prevention, visibility, accountability, and protecting our residents. The Bronx should not have to accept violence as the price of living in our neighborhoods. Safety is essential. Safety is a right. And for our communities, safety is non-negotiable. Our people deserve better. Our children deserve better.
