My teenager went from 30mg to 60mg about 3 weeks ago and the purge is ROUGH, I feel so bad for her but she’s taking it in stride. I show her TikTok videos to show her other people’s accutane journeys.

Yes! 10 mg for the first three weeks and it’s crazy how I’m already seeing a difference on such a low dose/short time. I must have just been that oily 😭

I was on Ocutane which is like Accutane i believe ?? I’m in Australia so idk, but it did make me purge and then have no acne, it did come back 2 years later though, but I’m not on a acne natural supplement and doing blue light therapy every night and it’s slowly improving. I wish everyone with acne prone skin the best in there journey 😩

I started on 30 then bumped to 60 for the rest of my treatment and I’m currently on month 3, I only noticed side affects (besides dryness) for the first 2 weeks after my dosage change and have been good now that I’ve been stable on the same dosage. I think the dosage changes were really what triggered some of the side effects, curious if that’s your experience too since you’ve been upping your dose each time

did you do anything for the nightmares or did they just stop? I haven't seen anyone else talk about this but I'm in month two and like two weeks ago I started having nightmares like every night, it sucks

Currently 2wks on accutane, the dr dans cortibalm is amazing! I use it at night and it heals the dry lips 💜💜

I started on 40mg no crazy side effects yet besides dryness! You will be okay if you need to bump it up I promise (I was terrified to start that high) but also if you want to keep it the same for longer no pressure
