i usually download the powerpoint and when the professor is lecturing i write on the powerpoint anything he says that isn’t on there and then i go home and rewrite my own notes with the powerpoint and anything extra he mentioned.

The power points are kinda vague, there’s topics but little to no details. They make us read 6-8 chapters a week. I can’t seem to get through more than 1.5 chapters (with note-taking) a day! Any advice on how you to be quicker with notes + reading? I feel like I’m writing all day everyday😓

I was worse. I would record my lectures in class on a recorder. Then I’d take it home and listen to the entire lecture again and write down word for word what was said. I would print out the lecture slide photos and tape them next to my notes. Then I would read them over and over until I memorized EVERYTHING! I too graduated 4.0 and top of my class. The only reason I could do this was because I had no job. The reason I HAD to do this was because classes were too fast for me to take notes in and/or understand anything.

This!!!! My notes and study guides were phenomenal if I do say so myself and I would mass email them to my entire nursing school class. We had the largest graduating class in the history of that nursing school! We worked together and worked hard!
