Trigger, an agent with acquired blindness, has a trust event where she navigates Lumina Square streetwalks to test for accessibility for other blind people. iirc she makes a subtle jab that it's not entirely safe/easy for travel so she does this across the city and submits requests to some municipal authority for more thoughtful accessibility. With as many simple romance-y trust events the game pushes, once in a while there's some thoughtful writing in between. Trigger's my fav for this and more 🥹

not rly related to what u asked, and this is pure speculation, but i do think that someone on the zzz team either has a disability or at least understands disabilities. zzz has some of the better disability rep ive seen, not just in hyv games. most post-apocalyptic stories include disabilities, but theyre ofted magicked away by the fiction. new eridu has tactile paths, disability markers, and accesibility features, even for its fantasy characters. almost all clothes have the option for tails for thirens. and the characters with disabilities, even such as trigger who has a visor that could be the "magic" in this case, doesnt come without limitations grounded in irl disability experiences. her visor doesnt "restore" her sight, but aids her in seeing in a different way. i think its neat. and since zzz treats disabilities and their accommodations as a regular thing, i like to think that the headcanon that yuzuha is wearing hearing aids is true (i have hearing loss too)!

Im cautiously optimistic that maybe the ZZZ team had intent behind their labeling specifically because a lot of the characters in the game all have different disabilities and matching “aids” that are seamlessly incorporated into their designs, so much so that the average person might not even clock it immediately

Unfortunately the game is pretty nauseating. There’s no option to turn off the moving borders in dialogue cutscenes, or the moving camera in the pause menu. My dad can’t play the game at all because it makes him sick
