Here's extra advise for the American carrying the M4 carbine. Never enter a Helicopter or a small hallway, with the sliding buttstock fully extended. Always have it collapsed stored inward, this will allow you to maneuver your weapon faster to aim, without obstructions in your way. plus you can maneuver more docile, when entering and exiting a Helicopter. you can return the buttstock, to your desired length, once your out in the open, and ready to fire .
