Mother of 3 who worked in construction before becoming a stay at home mother. Staying home doing housework isn't hard. Staying up all night with a newborn and then running after toddlers all day is HARD. My youngest is 2 now and sleeping through the night and I'm just now starting to enjoy being at home full time.

So, the man, won’t do doctors appointments, school work, feeding them and cleaning the house, I have seen men that stay home and they sit and don’t do anything. The mom will still have to clean the house, do the laundry, doctors appointments, because some men just think it’s game time all day.

it's not hard but it's thankless. I think what someone SAHM get at even though they're doing it to raise the kids, keep costs down, a nice thank you once in awhile would be appreciated. We should all appreciate each other in the relationship and what we contribute.
