I love the fact that because of Early-Batman (like 50s - 60s) the writers have to somehow BALANCE between somehow justifying Bruce hiring kids to crime fighting but simultaneously pointing out that it’s BAD. Like I understand why Robin was created, but reading the comics - no one hates Batman more than Batman’s own Comics. And that is to say, yes, Jason was the one who disobeyed and rushed to his Mother despite orders. Did he fuck up? Yeah. Was he at fault for it? Nope. Who took him in and made him Robin in the first place? Batman. He was the adult, he should’ve been there, he should’ve focused on Jayson. If you wanna blame someone else - blame the rigged poll that got Jay killed lmao.

Okay, cool it on Bruce. Jason got Himself killed, yes it sucks, yes it makes me sad to think about, yes Bruce possibly could’ve done more. However we’ve all been children and we’ve all on occasion done things against the wishes of our parents, now the reason our parents said no could have possibly been because we could die but as kids do we consider that no. Jason didn’t die because of Bruce, don’t blame him for what the Joker did, don’t blame him for the overconfidence of a child. Jason knew what his orders were and didn’t listen. Tim also knew what his orders were and also almost got killed by Bane so maybe just maybe, the adult who’s been doing it for 12 years knows what he’s doing and maybe if you’re a child in possibly life threatening situations you should listen to your orders.
