This is a bit misleading. China doesn’t have a cure for type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Chinese researchers had remarkable results with experimental stem cell treatments, including individual patients becoming insulin independent. That is genuinely exciting science, but a successful early clinical trial is not the same thing as having a proven cure.
