Nah I was on low carb for years when mine started. My cholesterol raised and because of that so did my androgens and dht. I started getting androgenic alopecia. And I lost so much hair! The best remedy for it was pumpkin seed oil. Yes seed oil! It lowers androgens and dht. It helped my hair so much and my hair grows so fast now. I also did other things like using a good caffeine shampoo and hanging my head upside down to get blood circulation to the top of my scalp.
