I see there’s a bunch of people who still didn’t get it so here’s a further explanation! So the cake is supposed to represent your ability, and what makes you special. But when you see other people’s “cake”, now you think what is good about you feels smaller. When you kept feeling jealous about other people’s cake, you tend to self-sabotage yourself (that’s why i started eating the cake with alot of envy!) At the end, because i was too engulfed in jealousy & envy, i ended up losing myself / the cake. Even though we are supposed to be happy with what we have (our cake) because of envy & jealousy, we lose that happiness/ enjoyment. TLDR: enjoy your “cake”, or be happy with your own abilities without having to compare it with others, because everyone have something beautiful & special about them :)
