This guy is so wrong if China united with Taiwan, TSMC will not move to US. This is because they can’t find enough engineers that have the work ethics. US TMSC already reported shortage with engineers and trying very hard to get Taiwan TSMC employees to go there. IBM who also built plants next to TSMC in US trying to lurk those engineers. These are not old news and been happening for awhile now. If United TSMC will built plants in China with a lot more engineers and same work ethics as those plants need to be running 24/7. TSMC has reported less profitable chips for those made in US vs Taiwan.

problem is america doesnt have access to those abundant resources to produce chips... which is why there was the idea of greenland... if chip production and data center all moved to Greenland it would be a one stop shop. all resources, water, colder temps... so if we see cn take tw then you will see us take Greenland and that wil be the next pivot
