Wrecked a maverick 4 months ago. It called 911 9 times. It wouldn’t stop. Dispatch just kept saying is it you again?😂😂

As someone who does EMS-rescue … this is great information. Also ford/Lincoln do post-crash alerts on all models including base models…(beeps horn and flashes lights) in case someone is uncontious and off the road somewhere to try and alert people around.

Yall it said maximum speed CHANGE as in you were going 60 and slowed to 45, it’s to clarify how bad of a scene they’re going to find, and what special support they may need medically. Your body cannot change speed rapidly without consequences in a car.

Mercedes-Benz maintains a 24/7 emergency response center and has since the late 90’s. They can see location, occupants, vehicle owner, etc. It makes this look like child’s play lol.

This was my Focus after an accident in 2017. I was hit head on by a drunk driver. My car called for help when I couldn’t, and flashed the hazards and sounded the alarm. I’m extremely thankful for the 911 assist to this day.

This was nice, the only thing we could use though was talking to the occupants. The location coordinates weren’t compatible with our computers

my 2010 Ford Focus kept spam calling two different police stations, one being like three cities away. I was so disoriented and dazed, I kept answering "I'm so sorry, your guys are already here, I don't know how to make my car stop spam calling you"

As a 911 dispatcher I got one from a Ford mustang that had a similar message. It uses the connected phone to call after 10 seconds if it detects a crash and no one cancels the pop up on the screen. When I got that call I remember the speed change and it say airbags deployed. I like this one the most and very helpful kind of like the iPhone crash detection; though, the iPhone sometimes calls on accident if someone throws their phone hard enough or it falls out of a car
