“Letter” is basically a letter to himself. He talks about how the loneliness and emptiness he feels every night hurts him. One of the main reasons he chooses to stay in the YG dorm is because, even though his family home is actually closed, he has always been alone since he was young..he always tell teume he so lonely cause his parents always on business trip..and his sister leaving for study... And when he goes back home, the house is quiet and there’s no one there, so he chooses to stay at the dorm instead.. In the lyrics, he says that he tries not to worry, even though those feelings feel like they’re choking him from the inside, and then he still has to go through another day tomorrow. I still remember when Hyunsuk was going through a really difficult time. He used to read books that, to me, seemed very related to mental health, especially because he once shared a poem that was about leaving..
