@itsmaryfarrer: 🗞️Romans 12:15 🗣️Share with someone who needs this verse THE GOLDEN RULE -Treat others like you would like to be treated. Have you gotten numb to “feel” emotion? Do you want to be heard but don’t want to hear others? I’m going to share a quick story: Years ago I was on a hike with my old roommates dog, Blueberry. I was holding her leash close as there was another dog approaching. I smiled at the couple and said hello. When trying to pass, my foot got caught on uneven ground. I fell and my knee got the brunt of it. It was torn up. What did the couple do? Just look at me. After I was just friendly with them. They just looked. That’s it. Not even asked “are you okay?” This my friends, shook me to my core. I was so sad about what I witnessed. They didn’t bear witness with my pain. I’m the type of person who would, in an instant ask if someone is okay after a fall. I’ve also had the opposite where people were there for me and I was also there for them where we’d laugh and cry together. When we are for eachother, not only just it built trust and unity but it brings comfort. Likewise when someone you love is going through pain in anyway, you don’t treat them bad, treat them with dignity. You don’t look at your heartbroken friend who is devastated from a loss and start being polar opposite in front of them. You meet them where they are, and love on them, comfort them, hug them, cry with them 🤍 If your friend or family graduates college or gets a new job, you shouldn’t be bitter and angry when they are super happy and feel on top of the world. Share in their happiness 🤍🕊️ This is a growing mindset we are all being molded into and walking in.
