♡ Jules ♡ :
Ive been doing this and seen big improvements:
-60mg slow release propranolol taken at the same time everyday no missing does
-Use a microcurrent device morning and night on my neck and occipital bone for bout 2min.
-Apply peppermint halo (Saje headache essential oil) multiple times a day to back of neck/occipital area.
-Use a wide cloth headband that applies not tight pressure buts adds a comfortable amount of support to my occipital bone. Or a migraine cap is good too but I dont want to wear that out in public...
-Do not Crack or strain my neck. No leaning under a sinck to rinse my mouth after brushing my teeth, no sports, no inversion postures (like a yoga handstand or downward dog) -Posture correct throughout the day.
-Take 1000mg tylonal with 5mg PMS-Metoclopramide 5mg Metoclopramide Hydrochloride as soon as I notice any prodrome symptoms begin. Or rescue medication if that doesn't work.
-do not take NSAIDs more than 15days in a month. Dont take Triptians more than 10 days in a month. Rebound headaches are real...look into your rescue medications. Nurtec I believe can be taken more often.
-Got my Ferritin checked im at a 10 now taking iron pills to help get that level up.
-magnisium bisglycinate every night
-Recently gone an entire week without a migraine on this protocol. My normal is 18-22 headache days in an average month.
-waiting for botox so hoping it can lower my migraine days as well!
-Check with your doctor before trying any of these.
Hope you find some relief 🥰
