If you’re scared to use minoxidil because you think your hair will automatically fall out when you stop, that’s not entirely true. If you have an underlying condition causing ongoing hair loss, like certain types of alopecia that can only be treated and not fixed you need to continue minoxidil because it manages the condition rather than permanently fixing it. But if your hair loss was temporary, like stress-related, and you fix the underlying cause, you’re able stop minoxidil and keep your growth.
