guys, i think you should watch frieren from a different perspective. try to notice how the protagonist isn’t frieren, but time. notice how 50 human years are a second to an elf: emotions take 50 and more years to hit.

Is Frieren the greatest anime ever? No, there's better, it's maybe 5th on my list, but it excels at every aspect that a story needs and it succeeds at doing what it wants to do which is show emotional growth in a damn near immortal being.
