@kathryn.tatess: You may have a neat list of all the things you want to do, but have noticed a lot of them never actually get done. That’s an execution issue. An item on your list tells you what to do, but not when you’re doing it. So when you’re ready to work, your brain still has to decide: how should I spend this time? If the task isn’t urgent, it often loses and never happens. What’s helped me most is giving tasks an actual time block on my calendar instead of HOPING I’ll get to it. “Sometime this week” is a wish. “Tuesday @ 7pm for 30 minutes” is a decision. When that time arrives, you don’t have to figure out *what to do* anymore. You already decided. Now you just have to sit down and knock it out. If you want to test this: pick one task that’s been sitting on your list the longest and give it an actual block on your calendar this week. Start with one and see what happens.
