@itstashmurphy: 👉🏻 Looking rich and being rich are not the same thing. The goal isn't to look wealthy, it's to actually building wealth and be content along the way. The older I got, the more I realised it was never about 💸 itself. It was about what it gives you. Time. Options. The ability to say no. The ability to take care of people around you without stress. I knew I wasn't going to get that by staying where I was, working 50 hours a week for an average paycheque. So I stopped pretending I was okay with that. I stopped acting like wanting more freedom made me greedy. I stopped telling myself to just be grateful and work harder. And I started building something that could actually buy me my time back, so I could be a present mum to my boys. 💙 That decision changed everything. Not in one day. But enough to make me realise I was never asking for too much. I was just asking from the wrong place. If you feel the same way but haven't said it out loud yet, I get it.
