You’re making a very large conclusion from a very small piece of evidence 😒 ,Nobody is arguing that prehistoric women sat in a cave waiting for men to come home with food. Women hunted, gathered, fished, processed food, made tools, raised children, and contributed enormously to survival. That’s not controversial but “women hunted too” does not logically equal “men were never providers” or “men and women had identical roles.” That’s a non sequitur ,and ironically, saying “women don’t need men , men needs us because women hunted” is still defining women’s relationship with men entirely around what they could or couldn’t do for survival. If your argument for female independence is supposed to be that women are complete human beings, you don’t need to rewrite prehistory to prove it .The archaeological evidence actually gives us something much more interesting: human societies weren’t governed by one universal gender-role template,roles varied depending on ecology, technology, pregnancy, childcare, global diseases ,physical demands, and culture so yes, women hunted. Men hunted too. Women gathered. Men gathered too. People did whatever their particular society required. The intellectually honest conclusion isn’t “men were never providers.” It’s simply: prehistoric gender roles were more complicated than the modern stereotype. And if a study doesn’t actually demonstrate your conclusion,sorry to say it but repeating it louder—and getting angry when someone points that out—doesn’t make the conclusion more scientific. And none of this means men hate women. We love women, respect them, and want them to thrive.
